A strategic partner for senior executives

At your level, the challenges are complex, the stakes are high, and the people you can think out loud with are few. I partner with CEOs and senior executives - combining coaching, advisory, and honest challenge to help you succeed.

The reality at the top

Senior leadership comes with a particular challenge: the higher you rise, the fewer people truly understand your context.

Your board wants results. Your team wants direction. Your peers have their own agendas. And the decisions that matter most often can't be delegated or workshopped in a meeting.

Sometimes you need someone on your side from outside the organisation who gets it - who's been in similar rooms, understands the pressures, and has no agenda of their own.

That’s what I offer.

Approach

A different kind of partnership

I'm not your traditional executive coach who only asks questions. And I'm not a consultant who hands you a deck and walks away. I work as your strategic partner, a hybrid role that adapts to what you actually need.

The balance shifts with the situation. Some conversations are pure sparring. Others need a point of view. Most need both.

I follow what's useful, not a fixed mode or method.

Scope

Three contexts, one conversation

What happens in the boardroom doesn't stay separate from the rest of your life. A difficult quarter affects your home life. A strained home life affects your energy, patience and judgment at work.

I work across the full complexity of your reality.

    Business

The strategic and operational realities of your organisation - where it's heading, what's not working, and the decisions you need to make when the path forward isn't clear.

  • Illustration of a transmission control protocol (TCP) network diagram with a central server connected to four client nodes.

    Role

How you're positioned, how you're perceived, and how you're navigating the politics, expectations, and stakeholder dynamics of your specific situation.

  • Green circular object with a faint heart shape in the center

    Personal

Your energy, health, and relationships — and what's sustainable over time. Because how you're doing as a person shapes how you show up as a leader.

The three are always connected. I help you act on what matters most.

About Me

Still in the arena

I've spent more than 25 years as an executive, consultant, board member, and advisor - working across strategy, leadership, and organisational transformation.

I've served on a public company executive committee, led a region with full P&L responsibility, and run a consulting business. I've worked closely with CEOs, executive teams and boards and hold a professional coaching accreditation from the ICF.

Today, I continue to work inside a global organisation as Chief of Staff to the CEO. I'm still in the arena, navigating the same realities you are: the pace, the politics, the pressure to deliver.

I know what it's like to sit in your chair. And I know what it's like to support someone who does.

Who This Is For

Is this right for you?

This kind of partnership is not for everyone. It’s for leaders who want real leverage to get them where they want to go.

Seniority

You're operating at SVP, EVP, C-suite, or CEO level - with the complexity and stakes that come with it

Breadth

You want a partner who can engage across your full reality - the business, the role, and the person behind

Honesty

You want straight talk, not validation. You welcome new perspectives and are ready to act on them

Commitment

You’re looking for a real partnership over time - a thinking partner in your corner, not a quick fix.

FAQs

Common questions

  • There's no standard template. Most engagements involve regular one-to-one sessions - typically every two to three weeks - combined with periods of higher intensity when something needs thinking through in the moment. What we work on is driven by what's relevant for you, not a fixed program. I run the sessions - structure, agenda, and momentum are my responsibility. You just need to show up.

  • I work either on a block of flexible hours or a retained basis with a regular cadence - whichever fits how you prefer to work. Both can be adjusted as the engagement evolves. These can be supplemented by project arrangements if there’s a specific higher intensity need for a defined period. I don't do one-off sessions; the work requires continuity to be useful.

  • Not therapy, and not life coaching. It simply means I don't pretend that your health, your relationships, or what's happening outside work are irrelevant to how you're leading. When those things are affecting your energy, judgment or your capacity, we talk about them - practically and directly. The boundary isn't fixed in advance. It's determined by what's getting in the way.

  • Both. Some clients engage privately and keep the work entirely separate from their organisation. Most have engagements sponsored by their company, typically as part of a leadership development commitment or a transition into a new role. The engagement itself operates the same way regardless of who pays for it: the work is yours, and confidentiality is absolute.
